Consequently, they are compelled to sell their products at lower prices locally. Investing time in expanding their market, especially internationally, would be ideal, but the demanding nature of vineyard and winery work leaves little room for such endeavors. Moreover, many winemakers prefer the solitude of their vineyards over the hustle of marketing and sales, especially engaging with clients from distant markets like the USA, Japan, or Scandinavia.
